Arround The Georgia works without an account. Saved places and your season/theme preference are stored in your browser’s local storage unless you choose to sign in.

If you use “Near me”, your location is used in your browser to sort and centre results; it is not sent to our servers.

If you create an account, your name, email, profile settings, synced saved places and chat messages are stored in our database on Cloudflare (D1 and Durable Objects) solely to run those features. Passwords are stored only as secure hashes. You can delete your account and this data at any time from your account page.

Map tiles are loaded from a third-party tile provider, which receives standard request data such as your IP address.
